Support at W.O.R.L.D. Academy will be built into the school day—not reserved for students who are already struggling. Through strong classroom instruction, daily WIN time, Wednesday Targeted Learning Labs, restorative practices, and family partnership, we will respond to students’ strengths and needs early. Support may include intervention, enrichment, language development, accommodations, specialized services, or connections to community resources.
En W.O.R.L.D. Academy, el apoyo formará parte del día escolar; no estará reservado solamente para estudiantes que ya estén teniendo dificultades. A través de enseñanza rigurosa, el bloque WIN diario, los Laboratorios de Aprendizaje Dirigido de los miércoles, las prácticas restaurativas y la colaboración familiar, responderemos temprano a las fortalezas y necesidades de cada estudiante.

Learning and Intervention -Aprendizaje e intervención
Every student will participate in a daily WIN—What I Need—block. Students may receive targeted instruction, guided practice, enrichment, acceleration, or individualized support in flexible groups that change as they grow.

Language and Biliteracy - Lenguaje y lectoescritura bilingüe
Dual-language immersion will be the core program for all students. Eligible multilingual learners will also receive English Language Development connected to academic content. Intervention will address the language and skill area in which support is needed.

Inclusion and Accessibility - Inclusión y accesibilidad
Students with IEPs and Section 504 plans will receive required specialized instruction, accommodations, related services, and accessible pathways into dual-language and project-based learning. Families will be essential members of planning and progress-review teams.

Whole-Child and Family Support - Apoyo integral y familiar
At launch, a full-time Student and Family Support Coordinator will lead attendance intervention, family engagement, community referrals, and coordination of restorative and social-emotional supports. Qualified contracted and community partners will provide clinical mental-health, school-psychology, and behavioral services according to student need.

Connection Before Correction - Conexión antes de corrección
W.O.R.L.D. will combine restorative practices with trauma-responsive and Trust-Based Relational Intervention principles. Students will learn to regulate emotions, resolve conflict, repair harm, and return successfully to their learning community.
Every student will also belong to a multi-age Familia that creates a consistent place for connection, reflection, leadership, and celebration.

Learning Beyond the Classroom - Aprendizaje más allá del salón
Nature, Earthworks, project-based learning, and six scheduled Service Saturdays—Sábados de Servicio will help students apply their learning, develop responsibility, and contribute to their community.
